Ingredients |

½ tsp ground nutmeg |
1 cinnamon stick |
1 dried bay leaf |
60g Demerara sugar |
½ of an orange, sliced |
1 x 750ml bottle of red wine |
60ml gin (optional) |
directions
- Heat all of the ingredients together in a saucepan over a medium-low heat until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from the heat and stir in the gin, if using. Strain into mugs and serve hot.
