Olive oil |
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped |
1 onion, chopped |
8 good-quality Cumberland sausages, sliced |
1 green pepper |
500g (1.1 pounds) fusilli pasta |
6 sun-dried tomatoes, chopped |
2 tsp dried basil |
Parmesan cheese or cheddar, grated, for serving |
directions
Heat some olive oil in a pan and fry the garlic and onion for a few minutes. Put the pasta on to simmer. Add the pepper and pieces of sausage to the onion and garlic and fry until cooked. Then add the sun-dried tomatoes and basil and stir. Drain the pasta and add to the pan, stirring to combine. Season and serve, adding some cheese to each plateful.
