Upcycle empty cardboard toilet rolls by using paint and cotton wool to turn them into mini Santas!

Makes 1

You will need:
1 empty toilet roll
Red paint
White card
Glue
Black marker
Cotton wool
Red card

1 Paint the outside of the toilet roll with red paint and leave to dry.

2 Cut a strip of white card about 3cm wide. Glue the strip around the outside of one end of the toilet roll. Use the black marker to draw on Santa’s eyes and mouth.

3 Glue on a piece of cotton wool just beneath the face for the beard.

4 Cut a triangular piece of red card for Santa’s hat and stick on a bit of cotton wool at the tip.

5 Stick the hat to the inside of the top of the toilet roll so it is attached just behind Santa’s eyes.

6 Add some more cotton wool in a row around the base of Santa’s hat.

7 Display your Santa in the window or perch him on a branch of the Christmas tree.
