Ingredients
100g light muscovado sugar
100ml orange juice, fresh or from a carton
20ml port
Pinch of salt
250g cranberries, fresh or frozen

directions

  • Combine the sugar, orange juice, port and salt in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over a high heat.
  • Stir in the cranberries, then reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 10 minutes. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
  • Store in the fridge until needed, then allow to come to room temperature before serving.
