EUROSPAR Newmarket-on-Fergus to Raise €50,000 for Community Centre

Coyle’s EUROSPAR has pledged to give €10,000 a year to the local Community Centre if EUROSPAR customers club together to raise points on their SuperEasy Rewards cards over the next five years. The new scheme will benefit the continuous development of the Community Centre’s facilities which is home to many activities, including Keep Fit classes, Handball, Indoor Soccer, Bingo, Scouts, along with many more and is used as a training base by the Special Olympics during the winter. Speaking about the partnership, supermarket manager Derek Coyle said: “As a family business in a local community and employing local people, we have always believed in giving as much back as we could to our community. That is why we’re absolutely delighted to be working with the Community Centre to raise funds for the continuous development of their facilities.” Geraldine Hansbury, Public Relations Officer at the Community Centre said: “We’re very excited about the partnership with EUROSPAR Newmarket-on-Fergus as the supermarket is a leading employer in the area and already has strong ties to the Community Centre.
